Hallmark celebrated its 35th anniversary in the Philippines by completely immersing itself with the Filipino way of life. 

Veering away from the usual fancy and glamorous festivity, Hallmark partnered with Gawad Kalinga (GK) to rebuild communities and share hope.

After four months of continuous work, volunteers of the Hallmark-GK project witnessed a momentous event last October 16 as Maximo G. Licauco III (left), President of Filstar Distributors Corporation, the exclusive licensee of Hallmark Cards in the Philippines, and Dave Lemoine (middle), International Product Director of Hallmark International, along with Noli Medalla (right), CFC-GK Project Coordinator, formally presented the keys to 15 new homeowners at GK Sanrose, Pasig City. 

The whole community of GK Sanrose was also present to witness the blessing of the newly constructed houses.  Back-to-back showcase of talents from GK Sanrose residents and Filstar employees highlighted the happiness this unexpected 35th anniversary celebration brought to volunteers and beneficiaries alike.  To top it all off were the scrumptious meals provided by Mang Inasal, a fast growing food chain in the country, which gave everyone one more reason to smile and give thanks.        

Hallmark went beyond with just greeting cards and helped rebuild communities.  Its uncustomary anniversary celebration was just proof of how Hallmark cared enough to send the very best to the people who made Hallmark a part of their lives for 35 years and counting.
