STAMP IT UP!
Happy with your student’s project? Want to remind yourself of important deadlines? Use cute foam stamps to stylize your classroom materials. Simply dab these foam stamps with ink of any color and stamp away!
STICKER HAPPY

Here are some fresh new techniques when using stickers on your projects:
-
Temporarily place letter stickers on a sheet of paper, trace them one by one then remove and save the stickers for later.
-
Mix letter sticker fonts. This works great when you want to achieve a playful look and don’t have time to get some more stickers when you run short of it.
-
Paint, ink or add glitter to letter stickers for a customized look.
-
Trim the ends of letter stickers to get a new look.
-
Give letter stickers dimension or the look of epoxy by using a glue gun. Or you may also add a layer of clear glue. Let it dry thoroughly.
SET THE MOOD FOR LEARNING
Try this new approach for your class. Instead of telling your students what exactly to do, let a jazzed up Activity Wheel do that for you. Divide the wheel into five class activities – Show and Tell, Groupings, Charades, Shopping for Ideas, and Crafting Time. Ask a volunteer to spin the wheel to determine the activity for that particular session. This activity will surely catch your students’ attention and learning from you will definitely be more exciting.
SASSY ESSAYS
Excellence in creative writing is an important skill your students must develop in preparation for higher levels of education and in the professional world. However, writing an essay would probably be a task your students are most likely to avoid.
Solve that problem by merging essay writing with a crafting activity. Warm up with an ALL ABOUT ME project where the students are assigned to do a storybook about themselves. They will not only be free in expressing their ideas, they will also be developing their creative writing skills.
Check out the PROJECTS section for ideas on how to do the ALL ABOUT ME activity.
