Accordion Album
The Accordion Scrapbook basically has 4 parts:
- the accordion,
- the pockets
- the tags
- and the cover
Materials
- 4 sheets of Keepsakes Papers (2 decorative, 2 solid-colored)
- 1 Leather strip (1.5 meters)
- Bic Glue Stick
Part 1: Accordion

a. Cut a decorative sheet into half cross-wise to make 2 half-sheets. Place your 1/2 sheets flat on a cutting mat horizontally. Working on the first half-sheet, cut off 1/2-inch from the left edge (width). Fold in half with the colored side in and the white side out.
b. Fold 1/2 inch on the right edge (width) of the second half-sheet. Fold in half with the colored side in leaving the 1/2-inch margin.
c. Connect the 2 sheets by attaching the 1/2 folded margin of your second half-sheet to the other.
d. Now you have 4 columns for your accordion.
Part 2: Pockets

a. Cut 4 pcs of 4 1/4 x 5 1/2-inch sheet of a solid-colored Keepsakes paper.
b. Holding the first sheet in horizontal position, fold 1-inch on left and right sides. Then fold the whole sheet in half lengthwise. Open the folds. Cut off the 2 lower 1-inch folds. Fold the lower half to form a pocket. Paste the 2 upper 1-inch folds at the back to secure the pocket.
c. Apply Bic Glue Stick on the whole back panel and attach to one of the accordion panels. Do the same with the other sheets.
Part 3: Tags

a. From a solid-colored paper, cut out 4 pieces of tags, sized 3 1/4 inch x 5 1/4-inches. Give your tags a specilized look by shaping the edges anyway you want.
b. Cut off 4 pieces of 3-inch strips from your 1.5m leather strip. Tie them through punched holes or staple them on the top edge.
Part 4: Cover

Fold your accordion and trace it on a decorative sheet. Leave 1/2-inch allowance on all sides. Cut out your trace, this will serve as your front cover. Fold the 1/2-inch allowance towards the back & paste in place. Repeat trace to make a back cover. Attach the decorative sheets one on each of the last accordion panels, white side, to serve as your front and back covers. Using your left over pieces of papers, create a label on the front for your scrapbook title.
