How to make your very own Altered Handmade Clipboard:
1. Cover your cork clipboard with a sheet of 12x12 Handmade Abaca paper. Use BIC glue stick for quick drying results. Using your emery board shape distress the excess paper.
2. Create a background mat for your cover clipboard by using a sheet of A4 embossed paper. Make sure that there is a 1/2 inch margin on all of the sides.
3. Cover the 7.5x6.5 foam board that will serve as your frame holder with use of another sheet of 12x12 Handmade Abaca
4. Using a sheet of A4 embossed paper create a pocket frame that will be attached on your frame holder. *HOT TIP: Use silhouette cutting to add texture to your pocket frame.
5. Create your very own flower embellishments by cutting a sheet of 12x12 abaca paper into 4. Fold one of the pieces into 2 then fold diagonally and cut the edge into half circle. Open the paper that is folded and trimmed, placed your wood button in the middle for a full bloomed flower effect. *HOT TIP: Curl the petals of your paper flower for that beautifully bloomed flower.
6. Using the remaining sheets of papers, cut out butterfly shapes and mat each shape to get a more fun and colorful effect. Using your coco strand, place one end on the middle part of your paper butterfly that will serve as it's body.
7. Shape cut your remaining A4 embossed paper for more paper embellishments to match your clipboard.
8. Adhere your embellishments to your project. *HOT TIP: Do a temporaty layout before permanently sticking your materials.
